We thrive on donations!
We take most building materials such as doors, windows, carpeting, paint, lumber, hardware, cabinets, plumbing fittings & fixtures, electrical fittings & fixtures, tools, etc. While we love to get new donations, we also take many used items in usable condition. Before you donate, ask yourself, "Would someone be able to use this to improve their home?" If you're not sure, give us a call at 619-516-5267 and we'll be happy to answer your question!

3 Good Reasons to Donate:

1.) It's good for the environment ---Help promote recycling and reuse by keeping good materials out of our landfills!

2.) Families and neighborhoods need your help! --- All funds raised by the ReStore go directly toward building more houses for low-income families in San Diego County. Your donation can help a family achieve its goal of owning a home and help revitalize a neighborhood.

3.) It benefits you!--- Because Habitat is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible! An itemized donation receipt will be provided.
Donations can be brought to the ReStore Tuesday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturday from 9:00am-4:30pm.

If your donation is too large for your car or truck, give us a call and we'll come pick it up for free! In short, donating to the ReStore benefits the environment, helps neighborhoods and homeowners, saves you money, and makes you look good!

RESTORE ACCEPTED ITEMS:
  • Exterior and interior doors
  • Wood and Vinyl Double pane windows only
  • Used bathroom toilets, sinks and tubs
  • Used/ working shower enclosures
  • Working Household Appliances less than 5 yrs old
  • Non-working Appliances for a fee of $25.00/pick up
  • New building materials
  • Tile
  • Patio Furniture
  • Lightly used home furnishings
  • Lightly used home lighting
  • Lightly used assembled home cabinetry
  • Kitchen sinks
  • Window shutters
  • Ceiling fans
  • GENTLY used furniture
  • Cabinets
  • Door hinges
  • Molding and Flooring
 WE CAN NOT ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
  • Paint, solvents and pesticides
  • Single pane windows other than Architectural style
  • Used wall to wall carpet
  • Used building materials
  • Appliances older than five years
  • Furnaces older than 6 months
  • Office appliances i.e. Printers or Monitors


Donation Instructions
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE GUIDELINES:
  • Please have all items easily accessible or curbside for pick up. WE HAVE ONLY ONE DRIVER PER TRUCK.
  • The driver will have a list of those items you indicated for donation to our Dispatcher. Due to the busy schedule and truck bed space, we can not take other items at this time.

Directions:
The Habitat ReStore is located in Mission Valley, just east of Qualcomm Stadium.
From I-15, take the Friars Road east exit, turn right onto Rancho Mission Road and then turn right onto San Diego Mission Road. We're the 3rd driveway on the right at 10222 San Diego Mission Road.
