Hats Off to Women Benefit Luncheon
When: Thursday, March 20, 2008.
Where: The Westgate Hotel, San Diego
Volunteers are needed for planning, organizing, and the managing the Hats Off to Women Luncheon Benefit & Women’s Build Days. We estimate between 300- 400 guests will attend.
Construction House Leaders
Men and women with experience in construction to lead our volunteers on house-building sites. We have a number of homes coming up and need to find several individuals with construction experience, patience, and the ability to teach.

Floor Managers/Team Leaders
We can always use more motivated leaders! The ReStore needs a few good head volunteers who can greet and offer assistance to our customers, direct groups of volunteers (such as Marines, church groups, youth groups, etc) on ReStore cleanup projects and everyday activity. Coordinating special improvement may also be incorporated. One to three days per week, ongoing commitment.

Family Services Support Program and Family Support Committee
Family Services Support Program depend on volunteers assist in the family selection process, provide family orientations, interview potential family partners for home selection, assist with publicity of upcoming housing opportunities, help to plan dedications and house blessings, and provide administrative assistance. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word would be helpful.
San Diego Habitat for Humanity is recruiting members for its Family Support Committee. The Family Support Committee consists of volunteers who are assigned to individual families. Essentially, volunteers act as liaisons for the purpose of facilitating communication between Habitat and partner families. Additionally, the relationship between committee members and families serves to maintain ongoing communication between Habitat and partner families.
